To make administrative matters easier, CKS Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees adopted the policy that the EC term must be for calendar year. Therefore, the 2009 term ended on 12/31/2009 for last year's EC even though that committee took office in April 2009.
Although the last year's EC was given only nine months, the EC members did an outstanding job in spearheading a number of entertaining, philanthropic, and educational programs for CKS members. Their achievements were showcased in the recently concluded Sankranthi celebrations, the outgoing president Dr. Vydehi Murthy presented a formal annual report complete with slideshow presentation for the members. The treasurer Mrs. Anitha Narayan presented the financial statement.
These formal presentations, culminated by a 2009 Flashback, a movie compilation of 2009 achievements, were a first in the CKS history. It is our belief that such presentations aimed towards instilling a sense of pride, community, and participation will attract and retain audience.

The new team will be finalized after the first EC meeting scheduled on January 31, 2010.
